Essential Information

Travel insurance

Travel insurance for every itinerary of our company is a prerequisite for booking a vacation. You must have at least emergency and repatriation insurance, which must include the cost of mountain rescue. Read the terms of your insurers carefully, especially make sure that the following is covered: 1) activity (i.e., tourism, trekking or mountaineering) 2) maximum altitude reached on the trek 3) evacuation of the helicopter for the case of an emergency. You must understand that you are ultimately responsible for all costs associated with the removal and return procedures and that it is your responsibility to bear the costs of the evacuation or medical treatment. You should be fully aware of the impact of organizing your travel insurance and understand the limitations and exclusions of your policy. Please note that under certain circumstances, our company leader can initiate helicopter rescue (or other necessary means) in medical emergencies without first asking your insurance company for approval.

Although it can be done at any time of the year, the best time to trek in the Annapurna area in September, October, November, March, April, and May. During these seasons, the climate and temperature are perfect for hiking. The days are sunny and bright with clear skies. Thus, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Mountain range.

Keep in mind that although it is not monsoon season, the weather will continue to be hotter and wetter in the lower regions, and you may face unplanned rains. Along with that, it will be much colder at higher altitudes. Therefore, warm gear is recommended to cope with the cold at higher elevations.

Very Short but Fantastic Trek Route

We Book our Dhampus Sarangkot trek with Nepal Tour & Trekking Service P. Ltd. It was a fantastic and pleasant Hike. Our Guide Mr. Bishal was patient, very hospitable when it comes to helping us. It also gave us expert guidance and helpful porter to carry our small bag. He and his team had done a wonderful job of welcoming us to Kathmandu until the final departure. We had also booked a guided day tour in Kathmandu Valley. It was a fantastic cultural trip. We look forward to traveling to other regions in Nepal with them for longer trips for years to come. There is no doubt to recommend my other friends who are planning to come to Nepal to take excellent services.
